Explore the complete kitchen remodel and redesigned concept this summer at the Met Kitchen, a social dining scene in Beaver Creek with small plates to share and entrees to enjoy in good company with family and friends. Whether you’re finishing an afternoon hike up the mountain or heading to an evening show at the Vilar Performing Arts Center, The Met Kitchen is a place you’ll want to keep in mind the motto: “Eat.” To drink. Repeat.”

The Met Kitchen focuses on Colorado ingredients and spirits while offering a variety of new flavors from Colorado and beyond. The updated space’s open kitchen makes diners feel like they’re part of the action while the comfortable seating areas allow small groups to sit side-to-side for more intimate meals and snacks.

Start your experience with a glass of wine from the enomatic wine dispenser, a cool contraption that lets you taste your way before focusing on a favorite. Pair wine selections, specialty cocktails, or pints of beer with small and sharing platters, including barbecued Korean ribs or seared crab cakes. For a truly refreshing summer taste, try the watermelon salad that features spinach, blue cheese crumbles, candied walnuts and sweet pieces of watermelon. The dressing of this salad bursts the combination of flavor and fresh ambience.

Lobster tacos have been a favorite throughout The Met Kitchen’s evolution, and they’re sure to go nowhere on your plate this summer. These colorful beauties blend pink lobster poached in Maine butter, bright green avocado, pico de gallo and chipotle cream into two delicious corn tortillas. While many small plates like this are very tasteful, the large tables in the new space create a family-style dining atmosphere where guests can also linger on larger plates, like the rib dish. juicy, slow roasted beef that is served with grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes.

“We are proud of our work to reintroduce The Met Kitchen as a place where people can find great joy in great wine, great cocktails and great food all year round,” said the manager. General Thayer Stevens. “We are also excited to partner with the Vilar Performing Arts Center and offer pre-show specials to celebrate what makes Beaver Creek especially lively during the summer season.”

The Met Kitchen’s open floor plan makes it a great choice for parties and special events. Be on the lookout for unique dinners and events featuring Colorado whiskeys and bourbons, local beers and fun wines, paired with the best fresh foods the summer season has to offer.
